The Unseen Kingdom Emerges
We continued our drive north, heading toward Taupo for the night. It was filthy weather and I was feeling quite nauseous from my bang to the head. …. Yes I know, practioner heal thyself, and I was trying. but healing bangs to the head, in a moving car, takes time.
Katie was driving and I was able to just shut my eyes and work on my own healing. As the mist in my brain started to clear, I became aware of the tribes of the Unseen Kingdoms tracking our journey. The Patupaiarehe, nature sprite and the tree folk. Those who live in the grassy knolls, and those of the tribes of air and mountain, were all making their presence felt. They were calling me to ‘do my job” as healer and mystic of the Unseen races.
Since I was a child, I have been a healer, mystic and ambassador to the Unseen Kingdoms. To say that they have been good to me in exchange, is an understatement. When I was a child I hated going away from home because my friends from the Unseen Kingdom couldn’t find me. The solution was for them to create a portal from my hand mirror. They would use this like a doorway for them to travel from a mirror in my tree hut at home, to the mirror I had with me.
In my late 20s they taught me to create the doorway through mirrors myself. The idea was that I have one mirror in the garden at home. Then I place small mirrors around New Zealand and now the rest of the world. This helps any of the Unseen Kingdom who need healing, to find me, even if I am in a built-up area without natural portals nearby. After 20-plus years of placing mirrors, the network is quite vast, however, there are significant holes in areas where I haven’t travelled.
As we drove on, the Unseen Kingdom of this area were trying to get my attention and remind me that water clearing was not my only obligation in this area. I needed to find a good spot to stop and leave a mirror doorway. There was a slight hitch with this. I was only just coming right from my experience with the guy with the shovel. I knew I had the energy to charge and program the mirror, or the energy to place it, not both.
This is when you know you have found a friend who is something special. I explained this predicament to Katie. Instead of questioning my sanity she simply offered to place the mirror for me. I charged the mirror as we drove until the Unseens told us to stop. Then Katie took the mirror, in the rain, over a fence, across a field of cows and under a tree that was a perfect place for the Unseen Kingdom to gather. 5 minutes later she was back in the car and we were on the road. …. LEGEND.
The next leg of the journey was the best example of “crystal bombing”. Another 4 hours in the car. Between long conversations about the Unseen Kingdom and water magic, we took turns jumping out of the car, hurrying down to the bridge or river bank, saying our offering intention, lobbing some crystals into the water and hurrying back to the car to warm up. It was in hindsight a spectacular effort and made for a fabulous day.
Several offerings later we arrived in Taupo in time for dinner and a hot pool at the fabulous Wairakei hot pools. A good soak and some lovely conversations with the steam Elementals and we were both ready for bed.
So much had happened and we were only on day two of our trip!
Wairakei Pools - Taupo Freeze
I felt as if I’d stepped into a different time dimension ever since we left home. Each day was a rich, new experience of tuning into deeper levels of connection with Gaia, Mother Earth herself, all the Beings which dwell within her, among her waters, which we were honouring with our sacred offerings. Moments grasping finer distinctions of subtle energy shifts. There was a long gap of time between taking the water samples and my freezes. The gratitude I feel is immense. For each each one holding its vibration, memory, the fleeting burst of Consciousness, the essence of each moment, and then painting it for me. It took me back each ‘time’ to being there. This freeze of the Wairakie Hot Pools shows the pure essence and beauty of the thermal waters, with its a profusion of fern hexagons, feathery ferns. We were also pretty happy that evening in the paradise of the healing pools.
